Mayanot was founded to cultivate an awareness of Jewish identity and a passion for the Jewish people by creating a Jewishly educated leadership.

At Mayanot, students of diverse backgrounds study together in an open yet academically challenging environment. Students are encouraged to question, challenge and explore three thousand years of Jewish wisdom and apply it to contemporary society.

LEADERSHIP
Mayanot graduates are active on 120 campuses and in 190 communities worldwide, encouraging more young Jews to participate in Jewish life and inspiring commitment to Judaism and Israel.

ENGAGEMENT
Under the auspices of Birthright Israel, Mayanot has brought over 40,000 Birthright participants to Israel since 2000.

LEARNING
The Men’s & Women’s learning programs help young Jews deepen their Jewish knowledge and commitment, while developing their learning skills and mastery of traditional texts.

NEW INITIATIVES
Mayanot’s new World Center is a five story, 3,500 square meters (37,674 sq. ft.) building with an open-air rooftop garden. The Word Center will allow Mayanot to enhance and expand its current programs and also provide a home for a palette of new programs.
